For this holiday home the client wanted to keep the kitchen as sleek and simple as possible. With this in mind, we opted for integrated appliances and used a full wall to show off the luxurious Dunblain super matte wrap doors. To eliminate the need for handles and keep the doors as streamline as possible the client opted for a grip-to-open profile.
As this is a holiday home and there is always need for more room to entertain, the client requested an extra dining area attached to the kitchen island. We decided to bring in some warmth to this area of the room, as well as compliment the existing dining table, with the use of a cool brown wooden tabletop that’s full of texture.
Bianco Cloud quartz, which has pale grey tones and a grey vein running through it, was used on the counters, the splashback as well as the kickplates. The grey in the quartz perfectly complimented the grey tone of the cupboard doors and the slate grey monocoat wood of the dining table.
